UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) function is ready for AVS Titan / Apollo / Atom DVR. It is called "auto port forwarding" which means that customer doesn't need to open ports from router manually.
In order to use this feature, router must be compatible with UPnP feature. However, since every networked device manufacturer designs differently, some routers may not work even if router specification says that UPnP is ready.

So, please be advised that this information may not be correct, but you can glance for your router before you try to use UPnP feature with our DVR.

Case Study: Customer enabled UPnP feature from Linksys WRT54G (Model: 6.0 F/W: V1.009) and couldn’t use UPnP feature. The model / firmware of router is not in the list above (http://miniupnp.free.fr/devicelist.php) After our technician updated f/w as latest version from linksys website, UPnP is working properly.
