Why MPix?
1080p Vs. 720p
MPix 2.0 IP cameras have 2.0 Megapixels with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. This is almost 6X better than an VGA image of 640 x 480 as found on some IP cameras. Example below shows the differences between video resolution types including NTSC, 780p & 1080p .
Progressive Scanning
Vs.
Interlaced Scanning
The scanning method of an IP camera is important to be able to capture moving objects. All MPix 2.0 IP cameras has progressive scanning which scans the field with one scan allowing for a sharp image in each frame. Click here to see a comparison video or click here to view our online demo.
